In this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn how to design, hand-cut, layer, and assemble paper to create their own unique sculptures. We’ll explore techniques for creating depth, dimension, texture, and movement, transforming flat paper into a beautiful three-dimensional piece. No prior paper-crafting experience is necessary. All materials and guidance are provided, and attendees will leave with a finished paper sculpture that’s uniquely theirs.
Instructor Bio:
Claude-Gerard Jean is a multi-disciplinary artist residing in Atlanta. Claude has exhibited his work in group and solo shows throughout Georgia. As a registered nurse and self-taught artist, his work reflects his appreciation for the complexity of individuality. Through the use of sculpture, paintings, and murals, his works intend to initiate dialogue surrounding the topics of mental health, consciousness, and counter-culture.
